In this unit I learned a lot about the many different ways that English speakers use when referring to future events. I had some difficulty with this unit, but spent some extra time practicing to ensure that I could do well on the test. I enjoyed the teaching ideas provided, and I can see myself using many of them in my future classroom. For example, role playing creating an appointment with a secretary to teach the Present Continuous with future meaning, having students write about what they will have done at certain points in their life to teach Future Perfect, and listening to songs such as \"When I'm 64\" by the Beatles to help students practice Future Simple.
