There are different types of classes English teachers may encounter in their careers. They could teach beginners, individuals, children, business people, monolingual or multilingual. While the teacher is still teaching English, the methods and techniques will differ. With children, the teacher will have to change activities frequently to keep the students excited and interested in the topic. While with business people, they are often tired from working all day so it may be best to make the material less challenging or cut down on input. I learned that there are many variables to consider when teaching different types of English classes such as the activities, homework, discipline and how fast or slow the material should be taught.
