As I am an older teacher, it is good to see the long list of available teaching materials now available. Most particularly I an an avid user of the computer and realize its potential for learning. I do feel as suggested in Unit #17 that use of Computers should not be overused. There are side effects, such as that suggested of students becoming uncommunicative. I will refer to this Unit often for the wide and vast variety of websites available for use in learning environments. I am a strong believer in the Dictionary as a one-source for vocabulary. Board work I completely believe in, along with cassette players, CD/DVD use, Video cameras, Visual aids, Worksheets, Course books, Resource books, Photocopies, etc. I am not so keen on OHPs and remember their use as long ago as the 1960s. Perhaps as a teacher I can learn to use them.
