1. Overview of Unit 9
Unit 9 covers the basic principles of lesson planning, explaining the reasons why teachers need to plan their lessons. Guidelines how to produce an effective lesson plan and what to include in the plan as well as planning for a sequence of multiple lessons are given. Different methods of correction are also briefly discussed.
2. What I learnt
Thank you for giving practical principles and examples of lesson planning. I previously had the question how to practically divide the time spent on each phase - this unit gives me good guidelines. Now however I still have the question how to divide the time when a 'Patchwork' ESA lesson is given. With more phases more time is needed and an academic hour in Moscow in particular is only 45 minutes?
