This unit talked about teaching speaking and writing (including games) productive skills. This unit pointed out that writing is the most neglected skill in the TEFL world because many teachers do not like to see the class hours become a quiet time. However writing is an equally important skill and needed to be focus on as well as the other learning skills.
It also talked about the difference between accuracy and fluency communicative activities. Accuracy activities are concentrated on producing correct language and fluency activities are concentrated on allowing students to experiment and be creative with language.
