This unit briefly described the considerations that teachers should have apropos the teaching of vocabulary, grammar and functions. Primarily this unit motivates learning teachers to choose language wisely, according to the needs and capabilities of the students to which the teacher should cater. I appreciate that this unit categorized language teaching selections into three parts (the aforementioned vocabulary, grammar and functions) and illustrates the teaching of these in connection to \"ESA\" lesson plans. Ultimately this unit reminds the teacher-in-training to maintain common sense (choosing activities which will help the learner to use English realistically) while reminding us further of lesson planning we have seen in earlier units (such as unit 3). It unit invites the teacher to value logical preparation for future English lessons.
