In this unit, I have learned a lot about ways to approach lesson-planning and the execution of a planned lesson. I was able to associate some of the methodologies with personal experiences in school and identify with particular teachers and their preferred methods. I also realized that I was most fond of teachers that had a good ability to Engage, as it always increased my attention for the class period. I was also aware of times when a teacher's immediate correction had dampened the momentum of the lesson and could envision how important it is to identify when and how to produce corrections. It seems a sensitive area that I'm eager to master.
