This unit focuses on past tenses and their usage. As for the present tense, the past has four aspects: past simple (referring to past actions that took place at a definite time), past continuous (an action in progress at a past time), past perfect (an action completed before another past action), and past perfect continuous (rarely used, referring to an action that began before a past moment and continued up until that moment and we don't know whether or not the action continued beyond that moment). Moreover, I've learned some good ideas for the activate stage, for example narrative story telling or detective games, that I find particularly entertaining.
