This lesson involves modal auxiliary verbs in the affirmative, negative, and interrogative form. This lesson also involves some categories of animals, such as mammals, birds, and reptiles. The two contrasting lessons were audio/visually recorded to show what is and is not effective in lesson planning, lesson instruction delivery, and with teacher attitudes/demeanor. The second video/session was far more productive because the students were engaged, the teacher gave comprehensible input, and the students looked happier and more confident. Overall, the second lesson was a very positive experience for both the students and the teacher. Also, the class activities seems to flow better and the video was more interesting to watch.
