This unit was about teaching productive (speaking and writing) skills. Much like the previous unit of receptive skills, this unit provided examples of fun activities and games to teach and practice these skills.
I learned that this may be one of the harder lessons for me to teach. Speaking and writing in a foreign language has been less appealing to me than reading and listening to the same language. Things like intimidation from others, fear of making a mistake, or lack of confidence make me (and other students) shy away from it. However, I have also come to find that my confidence in actually knowing a language increases dramatically when I am able to produce it.
