In this unit, it has introduced the basics of grammar. Through this unit, I have learned in details the different types of nouns, adjectives, article, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions. Out of them, I have newly learned about gerunds. Gerunds are -ing form of verbs used as nouns.
In this unit, it has also presented the detailed types and usages of each grammar groups such as the different verb forms (base form, past simple, past participle and present participle)and different types of nouns (common, proper, compound, abstract, collective, uncountable and countable nouns). This unit has definitely helped to better my understanding of grammar and showed the limitless rule of English language.
