This unit covered the teaching of pronunciation. It was a fairly long unit because it had a lot of material to cover, and for good reason. Pronunciation training is very complex and this unit details the importance of teaching proper pronunciation to students. It mentions intonation, rhythm, and stress and explains how to identify each of them within sentences. The last part of the unit consisted of a rundown of phonemes and how to read the different phonemic symbols. It also goes over how different sounds are articulated in our mouths and provides some methods for teaching students where and how these particular sounds are formed.
