This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit focuses on the present tenses namely present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. When explaining how to use each of the present tenses it elaborates on the form, usage, ideas to use in lessons and common student errors. I found the form and usage rules informative as they gave me a clearer understanding of when to use each tense. It also gave me clear rules to teach the students. For example when teaching the present perfect tense I can clearly show the students that the affirmative form is (subject + aux.verb 'have'+ past participle) or that the negative form is (subject + aux.verb 'have'+ not + past participle).
