This unit was incredibly helpful in understanding classroom structure and layout. Understanding that students need to help each other, and hear instructions at a lower level than being taught was surprising to me and counter intuitive to what I came into the unit thinking. Doing more pair work, and not lecturing all the time will be something that I am going to put into practice. As a teacher, you feel like you have to impart learning on the students all the time. It takes training to understand that students have to help themselves and each other in the learning process. This has been a very productive unit, as have been the previous four units.
