In this unit we have looked at the variety of materials that teachers can use to aid their students progress in the classroom. That is how to use the course books effectively. Here, we have seen the two types of materials that is the authentic material and the created materials. The authentic materials are; programs, magazines,newspapers,poems, videos, films. So the teacher needs to decide what the students needs to do with the materials. Also we have also seen the created materials such as flashcards, role_ play cards and picture activities. All of these helps students to facilitate their understnading of a new language and also makes the teachers class more effective.
