In this unit we see the various equipments, teaching aids and how we can use them effectively.
When using the board it is important to note we plan how we would use the board in terms of where we place what. For equipment like interactive whiteboard, overhead projector, cassette recorder, CD player, video camera, photocopier and computers it is good to familiarize ourselves and learn their usage and also have back up plans if they choose not to work at the time of the class. We also need to familiarize ourselves with the use of videos , DVDs, dictionaries, course book and online resources available and use it to make learning effective and interesting for the students.
