I have taught children before and know from first-hand knowledge that their time span can be really short or even longer than the ones of adults depending not necessarily on the age but also on the motivation. I taught a girl who was lying behind in school because she missed weeks of teaching due to an accident. She was the most motivated student I have ever had and eager to progress.
Teaching business English has a lot to do with the set-up of the group (e.g. one department vs. one level of English), their dynamics and the dynamics established with a teacher.
