In this unit, we learn the ways to evaluate a student's language level, which include tutorials, evaluation by the students, and tests. Tutorials are most likely done in a group at the end of a week or so to review what was learned and if there are problems. You can also have the students evaluate the course via questionnaire or discussion on how they are feeling about what is being taught. There are different types of tests for different purposes, such as placement tests at the beginning of a course to see where the student's level is at, or an achievement test at the end of exam to see how they have performed.
