This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered conditionals and reported speech. Conditional sentences use \"if\" or \"when\" to refer to past, present, and future possibilities. The unit explained the main types of conditionals (zero, first, second, third, and mixed) by clarifying their structures and usages. The second half of this unit focused on reported speech. Reported speech refers to sentences that one person has said and another is reporting what the first person said. The unit demonstrated how to convert direct speech into reported speech by changing the tenses. For example a direct speech sentence in the present simple tense becomes a reported speech sentence in the past simple tense. In conclusion, I am now more familiar on the grammatical mechanics of conditionals and reported speech.
