This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
There are four present tenses: present simple, present progressive, present perfect and present perfect progressive. Each tense has an affirmative, negative and question form. With each form of the tenses, except present simple affirmative, there is an auxiliary verb that is needed to complete the meaning. They include do, be and have. In addition, depending on which form of the tense, there is a contracted form where it combines two words into one. I learned that auxiliary verbs are very important to the tenses. I didn?t realize before how often I actually used them but without them, English would lose a lot of meaning.
