This unit was about the different tests used in TEFL. There are placement tests for new students, diagnostic tests to check the levels of students before a course, progress tests to gauge students' progress, external tests like most Cambridge tests. Personally, I have experience teaching Trinity GESE. I also have experience teaching the Cambridge More series, which has software teachers can use to instantly create progress tests based on the language point you select. For placement, I usually asked questions from the course books to see what level new students are. However, the example of the placement test seems very useful to me.
