This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In unit 6 i learned the basis of the Past tense along with the many different forms associated with it. First, Past Simple, which uses the verbs \"to be\"and \"was\", along with many different irregular verbs. It explains past action when the time is given, when the time is asked about. The next form is the Past continuous which describes the verb be (was/were) + the present participle (verb +ing). The most prominent usages of this tense is for interrupted past actions, it can express an action, which began before that time and probably continued after it. We use the continuous tense in descriptions. The third is past perfect, which is the subject+ had + past participle. The fourth is the past perfect continuous form is the subject + had + been+ verb+ing which is used to talk about longer actions/ situations in the past that had been going on continuously up to the past moment that we are thinking about.
