This unit focuses on course books and lesson material used in the class, their functions, the pros and cons, and how to use the course book effectively. It provides uses and examples of lesson materials which are divided into two groups, the authentic and the created materials. Aside from course books and lesson materials, the video included also presents other materials used in the classroom such as wipe board, visual aids, audio/video CD, and dictionaries. I've learnt that it is important to know and select/create carefully which material is best for the students and as most of the students rely on books, it is our duty to provide them with the right material.
