Course books and lesson materials are essential sources for teachers to teach students. Teachers should always be fully prepared with every lesson by balancing their use of materials whether it could be a authentic or created materials. Using too much authentic or too much creative materials can be difficult for teachers to keep up with their preparation for creative, and lack of creativity and laziness will occur when using authentic materials. Students can also get bored of using too much authentic materials such as tectbooks and they might not be satisfied if the teachers won't use textbook at all. Teacher should constantly check if units within the course books are relevant to the students and the level that they teach, as well as how much the course books are updated/outdated in order for them to teach relvants topics and accurate language targets for their students.
