This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. I feel quite comfortable with passive and active voice, but this unit was a nice refresher. The passive voice tense chart was very helpful and something I will probably use with my kids when teaching them about this topic. It is very clear and concise which will help when teaching non-native speakers. Modals and phrasal verbs on the other hand are still confusing to me. I understand modals more than phrasal verbs and the charts provided are a big help. They allow me to teach myself and to have a reference before I teach my children. Phrasal verbs on the other hand are still rather confusing to me, but the fact that they were brought up in this unit shows me that I should study them further.
