This unit talks about teaching how to produce different sounds and how to make listeners understand what is being said by using various tones according to different situations and manners. I learned from this unit that without intonations and stresses, people?s speeches would be nonsense and that intonations and stresses are very important aspects to use and should be produced and taught to students with the right pronunciation for sending the right meaning. In my opinion, to practice producing English sounds is to listen to different types of songs which have simple vocabulary because students can listen to the patterns and grasp the intonations and tones with a spontaneous attention to how the words are being pronounced.
