This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit is about classroom management and the basics behind it. It teaches about teacher positioning, student positioning and the different types of classroom groupings. Most of this I was already aware of because of my teaching experience. One thing that I thought was different from my classes that I teach now is the order in which a name is said. If I have a class that is loud and has students who just answer questions without waiting to be called upon, I call the student's name first, so that the loud students know they are not answering the question. This may just be because of the school and the previous teachers not controlling the classroom before I became their teacher.
