This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned about different tenses and ideas with future meanings. This future tense system is very complex. It's actually more complex than the simple tense and the past tense because there are seven common forms in the future tense systems (as opposed to four in the other two tense systems). Also, it is not as common to see the complex future tenses in everyday English expressions. I find the explanations for each future tense format extremely clear and helpful. When I follow the class materials, I understand the usages very well. However, I think it would be quiet challenging for students to understand the differences and be able to use the corresponding forms correctly in a short timeframe. I think it's important that the students have a lot of exercises and see a lot of real-world examples in order to fully understand the future tenses in English. It's a very challenging topic.
