this unit centres on vocabulary, grammar and the functions of a language. vocabulary has to do with new words. its important to make sure the teacher teaches new word to the students in every lesson. The teacher has to be careful in choosing which words to teach the students. he should make sure the words are in their reach of study. i think this point is very important because some words are difficult to pronounce, spell and understand. but if the teacher insures that the words are at the reach of the students, all these problems can be overcome.the grammar of a language is also another vital part. as regard to the grammar, the teacher should ensure that the students understand the various patterns and formation of the language. the should master the language structure and know how to apply them and follow rules. this will cover all the parts of speech and punctuations. finally we look at the language functions. This has to do with expression of feelings such as agreeing, disagreeing,suggesting, inviting. The students should be able to express their feelings on certain issues properly
