This unit was about teaching the productive skills, reading and writing. As stated teaching writing is often very difficult as student interaction is lower than a verbal lesson but this shouldn't stop writing being taught.
Speaking is much easier to gauge the enjoyment of students, not just body language but voice pitch shows how much the students are engaging in the lesson.
When teaching speaking it is important to teach accuracy in the study phase so the students have a base knowledge to work with but it is equally as important that they have the fluency stage to experiment and have fun with the language in a more relaxed environment.
