This section taught many differing teaching techniques and theories. It covered the vast numbers of teaching methods including translation, audio, presentation, task based, silent, lexical, and suggertopadia. There was also the incorporation of the engage, study, and activate approach. Several engage phase games and activities were also mentioned including fizz buzz, introduction, partner share, alphabet relay, sevens, I spy, memory games, word linking, slow pictionary, anagrams, box game, sentence, prompts, consequences, and adjectival introductions. The study phase suggested games such as tongue twisters, hangman, word search, and gap fill. Activate phase games included role play, surveys, communication games, story building, and debate. This unit concluded with correction of students discussing the difference between mistakes and errors.
