Comparing the 2 Lessons presented, we can clearly see the big difference of a teacher's impact to his class. Smiling is a key factor. Building rapport will make the students feel comfortable and will get them to participate in the lesson. This will build better communication because they will open up. Some lessons maybe difficult, but using real examples will still result to a good participation. Checking student understanding every now and then will aid the teacher to know if the class understood the lesson. Eliciting class participation by addressing students by their names will also make a difference.
