I have just spotted that this section is for a brief overview of the unit. I have not been doing that in previous units and can only apologise. This unit involves the teaching of vocabulary and grammar and the functions of these components of language. It highlights what is appropriate for each aspect and why, plus shows various ways to teach them both within the broader teaching styles i.e. Straight Arrow, Boomerang or Patchwork structure and the details within the engage, study and activate. I have learnt how to teach these various aspects of language and seen a further practical example to implementing the different lesson styles.
