This lesson covered most of the problems that teachers of EFL can face, and provides possible solutions to avoid or overcome the common issues. On the first lesson teachers should be able to establish rapport with the students and find out the needs of the students, which they could achieve using a number of activities. There are also different levels of students that teachers can find in the same classroom which can make it tricky to manage; however, there are different ways to surmount this issue. The use of native language could be one of the commonest issues and teachers can have ressource to different ways to make sure the students only speak English; one of which is making sure not to speak to the students in their native language. This unit covered the common problems that teachers of EFL can face and I feel like I have learnt how to deal with the different situations mentioned in the unit.
