Throughout this unit I finally started to get a grasp for what I should aspire to accomplish in each lesson I will give. Up until now each chapter has been a more broad overview of what I am expected to teach my students in the larger picture, but in this chapter through giving insight into specific lesson plans, I have a better idea of what my day to day experience as an English language teacher would be like. When one is learning all about the English language in a short period of time after spending their life using it, one tends to lose track of what a slow and careful process learning a second language is. I personally believe that this is very important to remember as empathy is very important in building rapport with the students.
