This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned about the modal auxiliary verbs, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. For each grammatical concept, there are different kids and exceptions to them. For example, there are three kinds of relative clauses and three types of phrasal verbs. It's important to understand the rules to each grammatical concept. This is definitely one of the more challenging lessons in the English language. As a teacher, I believe that this these concepts should be kept for higher and more advanced English learning students. Learning modal auxiliary verbs can be tricky, but I think with some easy communication activities and role plays these concepts can be learned. As for relative clauses and phrasal verbs, I believe that learning from course books will benefit the students more just because of the complicated nature of the placing of pronouns and objects.
