This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covers the four types of present tense. It begins by explaining there are 12 tenses in total, and they live in the various times of present, past, and future. The unit also explains how difficult these tenses could be for students, explaining that many Asian languages only have one tense. I very much appreciated the explanation of usages for each tense, and common mistakes that are made by students. The suggested activation activities also greatly clarified the specific differences in usage, such as using graphs and charts to discuss and use present continuous, and changing the room around to have the guessing student use the present perfect tense to describe \"what has changed\".
