This unit was all about testing, it goes into the different types of tests that taken in certain points of the course and which tests are useful for which purposes. For example, the placement test is given in order to determine the level of English the student has acquired and which class they should be placed into. The diagnostic test helps to determine the class' skill level and which lesson the teacher should start with. The progress test is given regularly and is there to determine how the students a progressing in the class and which units need to be reviewed. The practice test is there to help the students preview and prepare or final exams or external test and is used to help the students familiarize themselves with the format and also boost their confidence when taking the real exams.
