This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned the four past tenses, what situations they are used in, and common errors and mistakes that students of English will use when trying to use these tenses. The four past tenses are roughly equivalent to the present tenses and they are past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. For example, there is the present simple and the past simple, the present continuous and the past continuous, and so on. These tenses also have a similar form and structure, such as the continuous forms always adding \"ing\" to the verb. With the different usages of the tenses, I also learned many examples of these tenses and how to recognize them so I could better explain them to students trying to learn them.
