This unit is about present tenses. The unit discusses form, usages, typical student errors and gives some very helpful teaching ideas. I must admit that this unit reminded me of how the English tense system can be confusing when trying to explain to speakers of other languages as well as native English speakers. This unit makes this sometimes difficult topic easier to understand for teachers and gives some helpful advice as well. There is no need to become confused by terms and with a little effort, teaching about present tenses can be fun and rewarding. This unit covers the present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I really enjoyed reading this unit and I look forward to the next. Grammar was often neglected in my early school years and I am learning to appreciate the beauty of the English language with each unit. I can't wait to go over these concepts with my classes on a daily basis.
