In unity ten we were asked to watch two videos of teaching lessons and compare the two lessons with each other. The first video was of a lesson in which the teacher made several fundamental mistakes with regards to teaching English. He did not have a good attitude, rarely explained what he wanted or needed, made no effort to build rapport with his students, to name a few things. In the second video, the same teacher taught the same content, but was much more effective. He did not make the same kind of mistakes, and one could see how it affected the students and their willingness to participate, as well as their ability to follow the lesson.
