This unit talked about conditionals and reported speech. It gave examples of the zero, 1st, 2nd 3rd and mixed conditionals. It also talked about reported speech and helped to explain the different uses and scenarios. It was very clear in the way it diagrammed the various tenses of direct speech and then showed how one would change that to reported speech. It also sited some of the difficulties in teaching both the conditionals and reported speeches. I liked the activity examples for the conditionals, especially the chain conditionals. I think that would be a lot of fun to practice in class. I think \"completing the conditional\" would be a good study exercise, and might prove to be difficult for some students, because it would provide both imagination and extensive knowledge of the grammar.
