In this unit I learned about conditionals and reported speech. I learned that there are many types of conditionals. There is the zero conditional which is used to talk about facts. There is the first conditional used to talk about 'real' events which are likely to happen. There is the second conditional for talking about more hypothetical situations. The third conditional for talking about past hypotheticals, and the mixed conditional which tends to combine the second and the third. I also learned about reported speech, and the many types of conjugational changes which take place within the sentences when reporting speech in the past versus in real time.
