This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit discusses the modal auxiliary verbs, the passive voice, the relative clauses and phrasal verbs. The modal verbs can be used express obligation, possibility, permission, ability and advice, and differ in degree of formality. The passive voice can be used when the performer of an action is not known, not important, or when the speaker doesn't want to say who exactly performs the action. A relative clause a dependent clause that modifies a noun and is often introduced by a relative pronoun such as which, which, that, etc. There are two categories of the relative clauses: the informative and the non-informative. A phrasal verb is a verb plus one or two particles and there are three types of such verbs. The phrasal verbs can be difficult for students to learn, thus they maybe be better to be taught as vocabulary items.
