This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit summarized conditional and reported speech (sentences containing 'IF' or 'WHEN'). Zero conditional deals with facts that are irrefutable. First conditional focuses on a 'real' situation in the future. Second conditional expresses an hypothetical situation. Third conditional is used to describe a situation that didn't happen, and to imagine the hypothetical results. Mixed conditional combines a second conditional clause with a third conditional clause.
Then, this unit explained the reported and direct speech. In reported speech we need to use the past tense form of the verb. In direct speech the present tense is used.
