This unit discusses the common equipment and teaching aids used in ESL classrooms. These different types of equipment and visual aids can aid to engage the attention of the students and to encourage topics of discussions and conversations within the classroom. It can also aid the explanation of terms to the student and facilitate the work for the teacher. These different equipment and visual aids can help both the student and the teacher's interactions and involvement within the lessons. I have personally benefited from learning the different types of equipment that is available because it can help me as a teacher to plan a variety of activities using this equipment to engage the student's interests more.
