I have gained more knowledge around the parts of speech in this unit and thoroughly enjoyed it! I have been enlightened to a more extensive look at english grammar and understand how and why parts of speech are important when it comes to learning the english language and learning to put a written sentence together. I understand how a sentence needs to be structured using the different parts of speech and how some parts of speech can change a sentence or add to the understanding of a sentence in English. Being able to understand the different parts of speech and correctly relay them back to my learners I feel will help them with their writing skills and afford them the skills to eventually better express themselves in English.
