This unit was extremely informative as I believe it lay the groundwork for lesson planning. It also overviewed some of the techniques teachers can use to be effective in a classroom. I particularly found all the examples for each technique useful, as they spelled out exactly what a teacher could do to ensure a lesson moves along smoothly.
I found it also helpful to know that though we are learning about ESA in this TEFL course, we are free to adapt what we learn here to what suits our classrooms, country's culture, student learning levels, and personalities. It sounds like there is a lot of room for flexibility.
