Unit nineteen covered teaching special groups. We looked at teaching beginners, children, individual students, and business English. Finally there was a section on monolingual and multilingual classes. All these groups have certain advantages and possible problems. For example, teaching children can be very rewarding, but classroom discipline and motivation might be a problem. Individual students there are no mixed levels in the classroom, but one can't do any group activities to practice speaking. Every group also methods and activities that best suit the type of class, and the teacher should pick the methods and activities that best suit the class.
