This unit covered topics related to teaching different special groups of English learners. These groups are beginners, young learnes, one-on-one lessons, and business English courses. Each of these special groups can be rewarding but require some extra work on the part of the teacher to make the lessons most effective. For example, young learners do best with short, varied activities, and business English students have very specific aspects of English they want to learn for their jobs. When doing one-on-one lessons it's important to prepare more material than you think is necessary because they often finish faster than group lessons.
